I bought my first Australian Shepherd over 20 years ago and fell completely madly in love with the breed.Before that I had never bred dogs or even thought about it. But my Aussie gave me so muck love, devotion, loyalty, she was so intelligent that I had to get another one then another :-) That's when I decided to raise them, I joined the ASCA, a club just for aussies, learned a lot about the genetics, how to breed the colors etc. Then I had my first litter and they were great. I started showing, obedience, conformation, and have bought a dog from a show breeder that I hope to finish this year. It can be hard to see the puppies go to their new home, but the people that come to my house usually stay for hours playing with the puppies and talking. I get to know them pretty well before they take my baby home. I call to check on the puppies and get Christmas cards and up dates on the puppies. So that helps. I breed them because I think they are the best breed in the world, they make my life so happy and I think I'm spreading the joy I have in the breed to other people. :-)

My best friend used to be someone I hung out with all the time. We used to party together every weekend and talk to each other about our problems. Recently, we've been drifting more and more apart. We used to playfully make fun of each other all the time but it was all in good humor. Now when we make fun of each other, its usually really heated and intense. We get in each others faces and try really hard to degrade one another. But normally, its just him making fun of me since he's alot more articulate with his words and I'm kinda intimated by that. Whenever he makes fun of me, I usually just laugh it off but try not to think about it, but whenever I make fun of him he gets all defensive and serious. The problem is, we have the same group of friends. The friends like him more now and are closer to him. It's gotten to the point where most of my friends resent me for one reason or another (my "best friend" talks behind my back and nitpicks all my flaws), and they even go out on weekends without me. I'm feeling really left out and I don't know what the problem is...Whenever I do hang out with them now, its ok without my "best friend" around cause hes not there to hate on me. Quality difference between Mexican & American Fender Fat (HSS) Stratocaster?

Why doesn't Malcolm X and BPP get respect like MLK?

I felt that Malcolm and the BBP(Black Panther Party)did more for Black people because tey actually talked abotu Black pride and enpowerment. King, was more about unity with all races. Which is fine and cool, but in the 1950s and 60s Black people need to have there own things and community before uniting and intergrated with the whites. My grandfather was a Black Panther(He wasn't a good one) and I show all my respect to them. They weren't afraid of anyone and they helped Black people stand up and be more ertive. It gets on my nerves when a lot of people compare them to the KK because thats absurd. The KKK is a terriost organization established on hatred. The BPP was built on empowerment of Blacks, poor whites, and Latinos. The Opressed. I am a junior and now that I am a little older I am worried that the fact that I wasn't tought to well in high school and that I slacked off my first two years. Me and my brother just got new syrian hamsters on March 15 (yesterday). Mine is named Sniffles and his is Cheddar. Sniffles is VERY shy. They are both female babies. They are both in separate cages. Every time I go to do ANYTHING in the cage, Sniffles starts flipping out and running. I left her alone yesterday without touching her. But today I went to give her an apple, and she just went crazy! College Major Decision.?

Currently I am closing my second year in College, but to be honest I'm not proud. I feel ashamed, depressed, lonely, and that I've lost my purpose. I'm not sure what to make of what I'm feeling, but everything I do seems worthless. I think it is best to start with what amounts to my time in the Engineering department. I came in a Chemical Engineering major. I had all the intent and vigor to do so. I feel like I should accomplish something with the time I am given in college. In all reality I should have been weeded out the first term I was ever in Chem E, but I persevered, and made it through. Yeah I was behind in math, but I thought that it would work itself out for the better. Eventually, my second year came, and I came back with a plan. I had to make sacrifices, and I did make them, however it wasn't enough. I got slaughtered. It wasn't because that I partied, got too lazy, didn't keep my eyes on the prize, didn't do my homework, or see my professors, quite the contrary (though my math and physics teachers were quite unhelpful, and rude for that matter) Personally I know that I got screwed over I don't care what anyone says I cannot be swayed from this fact. So I changed my major to undecided, and did a bit of exploration, took a few psychology tests that told me I was basically better off being a truck driver, or a maintenance man, and Changed my major to Biology, but the thing is, I was never really happy changing my major to Biology. It really eats away at me I don't know why. Everything seems so empty, so unclear now. I feel so lazy I have time now, and all I do are bacc core cles. The only cl of substance that I am taking is Integral calculus. I just don't know what to do anymore. I worked my *** of to get weeded out, and listen to all my friends say how great everything is going for them. I ******* hate the position that I am in. I have no clarity of where to go, I feel like I am wasting my parents money, and I feel pissed off because I was weeded out because I had some bad professors. However there are times where I think it is possible to go back into Engineering. how if I just tried again things might be better, how If I take summer courses my "time off" won't totally knock me off balance. But there is always that thought that I may be bullshitting myself. How do I know that I won't end up just like how I did the beginning of this year? why am I thinking this way? I've had some great teachers that made me feel empowered. I had a great Organic Chemistry Professor, and the math teacher I have now is great. When I left Engineering I had lost all tastes of learning, but when I took the second cl for the Organic Chemistry series, I felt great. in fact well after the exam, into spring break I still kept writing reactions up on a whiteboard. and now this term, with my new math professor, I like doing math. I love rewriting my notes, and doing the homework, and rewriting the homework. I love learning about integral calculus. I just keep thinking to myself is it still possible. I gave up so much first term and got so little. I am a Bodybuilder, and I sacrificed that to try to do well in school. I bought a car in Phoenix and my mom and I are going to fly to get it, then drive it home to Kansas. We will be taking I-40 the whole way. But we didn't just wanna drive.. we wanted to maybe make a little mini-trip out of it. Are there any good tourist attractions around I-40 (we are willing to go a little bit out of our way)? We thought maybe the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest. Anything else?

It kind of depends on what you need that 2nd bedroom for, doesn't it? If you are planning to start a family, then I'd say that should be an overriding concern. If you just need a place for guests to crash, the sofa bed mentioned above should be sufficient.

Macintosh Powerbook G4 Start Up issue... Please help...?

Hello. I have a Macintosh Powerbook G4 (circa 2002) that has recently given me problems. Upon start-up, you can hear a faint whistle. You really need to be listening closely, and you can also smell a distinct weird smell coming from the laptop. Nothing but faint distinct lines show up on the screen. Other then that, the laptop is completely responsive. No start up chime, or fan sounds. Is there something I can do to resolve this? Which one is better monkey ball - banana blitz or monkey ball - step up? i cant decide, which one is better?

While neither of them are very good for Monkey Ball games, I'd go with Step Up. Banana Blitz just falls flat with lackluster controls, and outrageous difficulty. While Step Up isn't much better, I'd recommend it more. But if you're able to play Gamecube games on your Wii, I'd recommend Monkey Ball 2 a lot more if you don't have it.

Look man, there are a lot of scion haters out there and you will hear crap talked about them all the time. One look at my 08 tC release series 4.0 and you can see theres nothing girly about it. Chick cars can be civics, integras, rsxs, cobalts, tcs, mazda 3s and 6s. It all depends on what you do with it. If you put drop it a couple inches, tint it, add some mods, exhaust, intake etc. its gonna look and wound sweet. If you put a turbo in it then theres nothing even slow about it. Even for stock 160hp isnt bad. The civic and mazda 3 for example are 140hp. By the way my tC is pretty freakin mean looking. And for you RSX lovers and tC haters, tCs interior is 10x better, even with your racing leather seats.

Is it safe to caulk around a radiator?

I wouldn't worry about it. The radiator won't put out enough heat to cook the silicone unless you put it right on the hottest part of the radiator and it would have to get a couple of hundred degrees at that. Once the silicone is dry, it won't put off any gas. The smell is a result of curing. Even near the stove or oven, I suspect other combustible materials would start to show signs of heat stress before the silicone. But, if you're really paranoid about it, you can go and buy some high temp RTV silicone from the auto parts store. It's used to make gaskets, but I'm not sure it comes in white. I believe GE just started to make a clear silicone that is high temp rated, but it's kind of a liquid, if my memory serves me correctly. As far as the stove or oven, what kind of heat is the area you want to caulk exposed to? Next time you use it, run your hand on it and even if it's hot, as long as you can keep your hand there, you won't have a problem with silicone if it's cured.

Help!! does any one know what i can do if my rabbit is not feeding one of her littler?

My husband had it done (will be three years this Aug) and had lost 175lb....he lost half his body weight. He has had no complications at all. When he had his surgery on Wednesday and got out of the hospital on Friday we went shopping, that's how well he felt. His diabetes is gone (I know it is never gone, but no more meds) and his asthma is under control. This was the best decision he and I ever make. There are times when he wishes he had an appetitate, sometimes he doesn't feel like eating. He is 5 '6 and weight 350lbs before the surgery. Now he is a thin 175lb. Why does my wireless connection keep dropping?

Recently my wireless connection on my HP laptop will drop after only about an hour of connection and when it does the system tray will still say that it is still connected and then it freezes. It doest allow me to repair the connection or to disable it. The only way for me to reconnect is to restart the computer. Ive tried scanning it for spyware and updating the firmware on my router but nothing works. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

When will I Ovulate after Trigger shot (HCG)!!?

i was on follicle stimulating hormones and used trigger injections too. im not sure how long it actually takes for the follicles to release after the injection, but i was told to have the day i had the injection, then 2 days later then if we wanted to be extra sure the day after that. i had 2 follicles and only one released and now i have a beautiful 10 month old daughter. if all 3 were to take and implant - which would probably be unlikley, you can have fetal reduction, but if you are like me and tried for several years to get this far, it is probably something you really don't want to have to think about. my attitude was though, that i wanted 1 healthy baby - not 3 sick ones. everyone has different opinions though. the union im in doesnt do sht for me. we are 150 (strong) in the area i work but we are grouped in with people who live in much lesser cost of living areas. so are wages dont equal sht unless we were to live in those areas with the lower cost of living. my bonus is a measly 600 a year while all the salary people get up to 12%. are voice doesnt mean a thing in our negotiations and we have a no strike clause. it sucks but besides that i love my job. i just hate when they call our wages comparable.

There is hardly no difference at all I prefer the p2 because its alittle cheaper. I also use the articulated fingures but only for the Hapkido cl because of all the grabbing, They are all going to wear out quick and tear up the sides if you spar very much so go with whats cheapest.

Would anyone rate my poem?

The last two stanzas weaken this poem immensely, with their abstractions, and lack of concrete imagery. You had already been able to load the earlier stanzas with effective power that accomplished the same effects without having to blatantly state them, so it's a shame the form broke down at the end like it did. I'd heavily suggest rewriting the end to continue in the format preceding it, and possibly try to end with a single line, which might give it a solid, bitter-sweet note to end on. Up until the last two stanzas, it is quite good, and I'm not easily impressed. (I just rated a poem by saying it was glurge-ridden and plagued with cliches, while everyone else was ranting about it.)

Benzodiazepenes and Opiates (as you known) are both very physically and mentally addictive. Since you have been prescribed both at decently high doses, your body is experiencing withdrawals in between refills. While opiate withdrawal is extremely painful (I've always said its a hell that dante couldn't have even imaged) it will not kill you. I would look into either managing your dose so that there is no way you run out, or searching for different kinds of strategies to handle the in between days. The "Thomas recipe" is a great one. However, withdrawal from benzos can be very dangerous and can cause deadly side effects. Another point too, is that without the daily intake of benzos your body naturally can have more severe anxiety as a side effect. If I was in your position, I would have a chat with your doctor about options to decrease this horrible time in between. (When humans are born we have natural pain receptors in the brain that are very similar to opiates. When people start using synthetic opiates, the natural ones in the brain die off. Consequently, when you have no pain pills in your system, the normal pain seems 10x worse. Also on a psychological level, you are used to being able to get relief from your pills, and when they are not available you not only have to fight the physical pain, but the emotional anguish of not being able to make yourself better.) The reason you can go longer without the methadone is because methadone has an extremely long half life. Thus taking a lot longer for it to clean out of your system. Methadone is one of the hardest, most painful opiate to withdrawal from because not only do the symptoms last for more than a month in some cases, but also can cause psychotic episodes. Lorazepam is a shorter acting benzo, so it processes through your body quicker. I wish you the best of luck with dealing with this, and like I said, I would consult your doctor on ways to make this more manageable. Nobody wants to have to deal with a few days of absolute hell a month.

Wow, with hair so damaged it is breaking off in chunks, there is not much you can do. I would cut it short, and I mean really short (that look is coming back!) and get some deep intensive conditioner. Put the conditioner on, wrap your hair is plastic wrap or a shower cap, and wrap that with hot towels. Let it sit for 15 minutes or so. I would do that twice a week for a while until it starts to feel a little more normal. You can also go to a good salon and they can do the same thing, but with really good product and warm dryers. Any time you do something that drastic with your hair, you are bound to do damage beyond repair. I would lay off the dramatic color for awhile. How about some nice bold highlights???? You sound like the kind of person who likes to make a statement - go spiky! Good luck....

Okay, last night at 11:30pm, I was driving normally and stocked by a cop for about 1/4 quarter mile to my home. I turned into my drive way and he slowly pulled in too. Is it me or is M Effect very confusing at first?

For some reason I just can't get the hang of M Effect. It just seems like there is too much to take in as far as the menus go. For instance, is there even a place in one of the menus to see all of the upgrades you have available for use in one list? I open up boxes, then I forget what I just got and I have to go from weapon to weapon to figure out what it was that I just got. What do i do with the creosote that i brush n sc out me chimney?

Not a good idea to burn it in your wood burner. Nor should you throw it in your garden. Depending upon what kind of wood created the creosote it can be quite acidic and it will take forever to break down. The best way is to just put it a plastic garbage bag and put it out with your garbage. If you have a place where you burn your trash and if that is legal where you live, burn it with your trash.
