Is God a hypocrite? Has he ever broken his own Law/Command?

in those days they made an example of someone who disobeyed the laws. so that fear was instilled in mankind not to disobey the Lord your God. not like to day, where they get a slap on the wrist, sent to prison and get gst, computers and play baseball.
