Who would win in a battle--Lord Nelson or Wellington?

Well-reasoned answers, please. They fight some rounds on land and some at sea and they get extra lives (I figure whoever has the bigger monument would win. But by that standard, Alfred would own. And that's nice; Alfred seldom got to do much at all).
