Would you rather live in a lower floor of a condo in a bigger unit or a higher floor in a smaller unit?

It kind of depends on what you need that 2nd bedroom for, doesn't it? If you are planning to start a family, then I'd say that should be an overriding concern. If you just need a place for guests to crash, the sofa bed mentioned above should be sufficient.
