I need your opinions on community policing!?

I would say that it might help in the solving of crimes but I am doubtful that it prevents serious criminal activity. Maybe minor crimes or property crimes, but outside of that, I'm not sure. Furthermore, it could ist if a criminal act happened in the community by someone who was of that same set. I am doubtful that it would ist much if the criminal actor was from outside of that community.
